THE NEPALESE CONSULATE GENERAL IN BRISBANE IS OPEN FROM 9:00AM TO 12:00 NOON ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. OTHER TIMES BY APPOINMENT
IMPORTANT - Please note that the Consulate
Office will be closed on Australia Day, Thursday 26 January.
On
Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 NOON, you may come in to the
Consulate and receive a Nepalese Tourist Visa "on the spot". No
appointment needed. To arrange for another time, please call or email
the Consulate.
Please note that the Consulate Office can receive payment by Money Order (from the Post Office), Bank Cheque (a cheque purchased from the bank), or cash if you come in person. We do not have credit card, eftpos or eft facilities. Please make cheques or money orders payable to "Consulate General of Nepal".
Or,
you may drop off your signed visa application and passport at the front
desk between 9am - 3pm, Monday to Thursday and pick
it up when issued (usually around 3 business days). Please note the office is unattended on Fridays.
Or,
you may post (via Express Post - Next Day Deliver or Registered Post) your signed visa
application (one copy only), your passport and a Postal Money Order for
the correct amount. Please enclose an extra Express/Registered Post envelope so we
may return your passport to you.

15 Day Multiple Entry = $65.00
30 Day Multiple Entry = $85.00
90 Day Multiple Entry = $175.00
"On the Spot" Fee = $15.00 (this fee is charged for on the spot visas issued while you wait)
